Limited Warranty
General
Every Ninety One cycle comes with world class specifications. Ninety One cycles are sold exclusively through our extensive network of dealers all across India and on our website www.outdoors91.com. All our dealers are skilled for proficient assembly and service of Ninety One bikes. In addition, some of our affiliates might also be selling Ninety One cycles on online marketplaces.
Warranty Activation
In order to activate your warranty, please ensure that you register your Ninety One cycles on our website. Please go to www.outdoors91.com and follow the steps under Register My Bike. You will need to upload a proof of purchase in the form of your invoice copy in order to register your Ninety One cycle. You will receive a verification call from one of our Ninety One representatives and post verification, your warranty will be activated. You will receive a unique numbered warranty certificate from Ninety One through SMS/Email on your registered mobile number/email address.
Please note that unless your Ninety One cycle is registered on www.outdoors91.com, your warranty will not be activated.
You have 30 days from your date of purchase to register your Ninety One bike and activate your warranty.
Warranty Details
- This limited warranty shall not be construed or interpreted in any manner to suggest or imply that your Ninety One cycle is indestructible or imperishable or will last in perpetuity.
- This limited warranty applies only to the original owner of a Ninety One bikes and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
- The lifetime warranty is applicable only on frames of the Ninety One cycles.
- The limited warranty on consumables and forks (suspension or rigid) is applicable during six months from date of purchase for the original owner.
- All mechanical parts other than frame are covered under this limited warranty only with respect to any manufacturing defects.
- This limited warranty is void if the Ninety One bike is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
- This limited warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized Ninety One Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by Ninety One to sell Ninety One cycles . Specific Warranty Exclusions
The following instances are specifically excluded from the coverage of this limited warranty.
- Any defect arising from normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow-up maintenance.
- Installation or modification of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the cycle.
- Paint fading caused by the effects of ultraviolet light (UV) or outdoor exposure.
- Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, peeling of paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental dent or scratches, damage due to chemicals, improper storage and parking.
- Ninety One bikes used for following activities
- Used in any competitive sport
- Used for stunt riding, jumping, aerobatics or similar activity
- Modified in any way
- Modified with the addition of a motor
- Ridden by more than one person at a time
- Rented, sold, or given away
Remedy and Limitation of liability
- This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy under this warranty. All labour charges for warranty service, including the transfer of components and/or any installation of new components, are the responsibility of the cycle’s owner. Due to product evolution and obsolescence, some components may not be available for older models. In these cases, sourcing and paying for components is the responsibility of the cycle owner.
- Ninety One or any of its affiliates is not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- Colour of the cycle frame and stickers will be subject to availability at the time of claim.
- Decision of type of damage will be taken by the Company and communicated to the customer before initiating repair.
To Make A Claim
- If your Ninety One cycle is registered and you have received your unique numbered warranty certificate, then all you need is your registered phone number to make a claim.
- For Ninety One cycles purchased from Authorized Ninety One Retailers, please contact the retailer from where you purchased your Ninety One bike so that they can investigate your problem to initiate a warranty claim.

Part or model specifications are subject to change without notice. This limited warranty is the only warranty for the product. All warranties other than stated herein are expressly disclaimed including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent allowable by applicable law. All liability for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages are expressly disclaimed, to the extent allowable by applicable law. The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer and is not transferable to anyone else.
E-BIKE
Frame and mechanicals
- Warranty for frames is 5 yrs from date of purchase.
- The Frame is ISO 4210 certified for road and city use only. Any use outside the designed environment voids warranty. Replacement or repair will be in discretion of the Company.
- If customer identifies any fault in frame, it should be serviced only by Alpha Vector approved technician, warranty will be void if serviced by anyone else.
- In case of genuine fault covering under warranty, cost including replacement parts, will be borne by the Company.
- Labour cost will be borne by the user.
- Damage due to rough use, stunts, natural calamity, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, intentional damages by user, fall will not be covered under warranty. Decision of type of damage will be taken by the Company and communicated to customer before initiating repair.
- Natural wear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental dent or scratches, damage due to chemicals, improper storage and parking is not covered under warranty.
- All mechanicals other than frame are only covered under warranty only for manufacturing defects, to be reported within 7 days of purchase if any.
Electricals
- Electricals come with a 6-months warranty from date of purchase.
- Electricals Includes Charger, Controller, Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS), Display, Cables, Throttle & E-Brake Levers.
- Controller is IP 65 and damage due to ingress beyond design condition is not covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be in discretion of the Company.
- Damage due to non-authorized service is not covered under warranty.
- Use of non-approved accessories will void warranty.
- Any rewiring of harness will void warranty.
- Operational issues or defect due to Smart lock will not be covered under warranty.
- Opening of Controller will void warranty.
- The warranty covers only manufacturing defects.
- The controller warranty does not include damage from power surges due to any causes including lightning strikes, shorting due to water etc.
Motor and Rim
- Warranty period of motor is of one year from date of purchase
- All manufacturing defects will be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be in discretion of the Company.
- Motor is IP65 rated, damages and ingress due to reasons above Design conditions is not covered.
- Opening or servicing of motor that is performed by other than Company approved technician will void warranty
- Natural wear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental dent or scratches, damage due to chemicals, improper storage and parking is not covered under warranty
- Damage due to rough use, stunts, natural calamity, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, intentional damages by user, fall will not be covered under warranty. Decision of type of damage will be taken by the Company and communicated to customer before initiating repair.
- Cracking of rim is not covered under warranty.
- The Motor warranty does not include damage from power surges due to any causes including lightning strikes, shorting due to water, surge while charging etc.
Battery
- Warranty period of battery pack is of 2 years from date of purchase.
- All manufacturing defects will be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be in discretion of the Company.
- Battery is IP 65 when mounted on bicycle. It is highly recommended never to wash or drown battery and any damage due to negligence will void warranty.
- The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, water damage, improper maintenance, or such other misuse or normal wear.
- Natural degradation of battery pack is not covered under warranty. Maximum battery degradation of 25% after 700 charge cycle or 2 year which ever first is normal.
- Since Lithium ion batteries have the tendency of self-degradation, Hence Mileage per charge will reduce with ageing. Reference chart for the same is as follows:-

- Storage of battery: Battery should be charged 100% before storing and should be charged at least once in 1 month. Also make sure that battery will not come in contact with water. Failing to do so will void warranty. Never store battery fully discharged. Company will not be responsible for any accident or damage due to improper storage.
- Charging (more than 45 degree C), storing and discharge battery when ambient temperature is not more than 50 degree and less than 0 degree Celsius will void warranty. Company will not be responsible for any accident or damage due to improper usage.
